Tips for VCE Students

Tip One
Every Monday The Age offers Education Age, an online resource which includes information, news and resources to parents and students from pre-primary to tertiary education. Click on www.theage.com.au/education to access resources for English and other VCE subjects. Look out for the exam revision guide in the near future. This covers all subjects.

Tip Two – Time management at VCE
It is important to give your studies priority, including regular tuition sessions. Extra curricular activities and part time employment should be fitted around your studies. You only have a certain amount of time and if you are to achieve your best possible ATAR score you need to give your studies priority. Your teachers and tutors cannot make up for time lost to other activities. If you take time from studies or tutoring sessions this may compromises your capacity to perform well in any subject. However, it is also crucial to your wellbeing to include time out and recreational activities to better enable you to manage the demands of the VCE or the International Baccalaureate IB.
